Finding Strength
in the Lord
Scripture
"It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way clear."
— Psalm 18:32 (BSB)
Observation
David wrote this psalm from the middle of real danger — not after the storm had passed. He wasn't reflecting on God's strength from a place of comfort. He was claiming it in the thick of the battle. That's the kind of faith this verse invites us into: not waiting until things are calm to trust God, but anchoring ourselves in Him before the day has a chance to shake us.
Application
Today, when you feel the day pulling at you — a worry, a hard conversation, a moment of doubt — pause and silently repeat: He arms me with strength. My way is clear. Let it be less a reminder and more a declaration.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for being our refuge and strength, a constant help in times of trouble. When we feel weak, remind us that Your power is made perfect in our weakness. Fill us with courage to face what lies ahead and peace to rest in Your promises...
